EAST COAST SWING: Beginner Level 101
6:30 pm till 7:45 pm
This class is for the new beginner or swing dancer with limited experience who wants to learn an easy swing style to get out on the dance floor fast. It’s energetic, great exercise and fun. You don’t need a partner or prior dance experience. Dress is casual. Instructor Wesley Boz
CORE PATTERNS COVERED: 6 count (single time rhythm) patterns – Leader and follower turns (belt, duck, arch, underarm), shoulder side, open and closed position basic, starter step, pickup, send out variations.
SLOW BLUES : Beginner Level 101
7:45 pm till 9 pm
This class is for new dancers to Blues Dancing or dancers with limited experience in this dance. No partner is necessary, dress is casual.
We will be working on some of the most important components that make you a good social dancer, namely partnering connection, creativity, musicality and some easy patterns that you can learn and get onto the dance floor with some confidence.This will be a fun, relaxed and informative class series. Individual $35, Couple $60, Student (14-22 yrs.) $20.
2. AT THE DOOR: First night of classes.
Individual $45, Couple $100, Student (14-22 yrs.) $20. Drop-In $15 (one class-1 hour & 45 minutes)

About the instructor: Wesley Boz is Co-Director and lead instructor at Music And Dance Productions. He began his dancing/teaching/DJing career in New York City and has been teaching full-time for the past 22 years. He splits his time teaching and does extensive deejay work here in the Triangle area and at national dance events. Wesley produces one of the longest running weekly swing dances (11 years) on Sunday nights in Raleigh and hosts a popular 2nd & 4th Sunday afternoon salsa dance, both at the Elks Lodge in Raleigh, NC.
